2001 - February 1, 2001, Rock Krawler Suspension is Founded. The Jeep Industry's first true bolt-in triangulated 4 link suspension is introduced to the marketplace during July 2001. Sept 1, 2001, Rock Krawler Suspension begins shipping products for Wrangler TJ's.
2002 - Jeep Cherokee XJ Long Arms are introduced to the off-road consumer marketplace.
2003 - Rock Krawler Suspension moves to Green Island, New York with a partial change of ownership. The Jeep industry's first independent three link front suspension with aftermarket track bar is introduced under the name "X-Factor" and it encompassed different choices of Long-Arms for the TJ/LJ/XJ/ZJ and WJ applications launching. We begin manufacturing all products in house.
2004 - Jeep Wrangler LJ (aka TJ Unlimited) Short Arm and Long Arm Systems Launch.
2005 - 2.625" RRD Racing Shocks; the industry's first all-aluminum bodied shocks and coil-overs begin testing. RRD stands for Rock Krawler Racing Development. Rock Krawler Suspension also jumps into the truck marketplace with 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen Ram HD Suspension Products Launching.
2006 - Rock Krawler Suspension goes into their second truck application with 05 and up Super-Duty Suspension.
2007 - Rock Krawler Suspension moves into a new, larger facility still located in Green Island, NY.
2008 - Rock Krawler Suspension begins implementing CNC production equipment; partnering with HAAS Automation and brings product finishing in house.
2009 - Rock Krawler Suspension moves truck products to its own Brand called "Pure Performance". Rock Krawler "RRD Racing Shocks" and "Pure Performance Prodigy Shocks" are launched.
2010 - Pro-Krawler Joint Testing Begins.
2011 - Rock Krawler launches our new website for both Rock Krawler and Pure Performance. True Multi Rate Coil testing begins on all applications. Rock Krawler suspension begins our racing program for accelerated and abusive real world product testing in order to provide the toughest aftermarket components for your daily driver. "The Victim" JK becomes the first full bodied Jeep JK to complete a full lap in Ultra 4 Racing. 2011 also marked the end of the road for unibody Jeep applications (XJ/ZJ/WJ).
2012 - Rock Krawler Suspension moves to Waterford, NY to yet an ever-larger facility, bringing in much more equipment, space, warehouse racking and a new R and D facility.
2013 - Pro Krawler Joints were released into production after 3 years of testing, which feature free-machined chromoly housings and all billet components. They feature an industry leading misalignment capability of 60 degrees total for a joint that is completely rebuildable and serviceable.
2014 - Rock Krawler Suspension begins testing our own bypass shocks with the #4570 LJ build running an off the shelf "X-Factor Long Arm Stretch System" in the 4500 Ultra 4 Class. For our first time out at the annual King of the Hammers race, the 4570 LJ gets up on stage! Not bad for our first time at KOH.
2015 - Triple Rate Coils are launched for all applications, after 4-years of testing. They are a true, longer travel coil spring with much improved on-road comfort and off-road performance, topping dual-rate and linear rate coils in every category.
2016 - The #4899 JK-R build is started which is a 4800 class, Ultra-4 Race Car built on JKU chassis to test our "X2" geometry, "X2" long arm mounts and develop our 3.25" Coil Overs.
2017 - The #4899 successfully crosses the finish line at King of the Hammers, the only vehicle in its class with a OEM Jeep frame still part of it!
2018 - Wrangler JL/JLU initial product offerings are released! Rock Krawler Suspension was the only company to correct spring bow, vehicle lean and improve the rear roll center right out of the gate, thus requiring all others to play catch up for years to come.
2019 - Rock Krawler Suspension implements an all new, full-time powder coating system with a pretreatment line, and improving all product finishes. Adventure Series Joints begin testing and evaluation. Rock Krawler Suspension and Hyperco; manufacturer of Hypercoils ink a deal to have Hyperco produce all Rock Krawler Suspension coils, so you know RK coils are made by one of the best manufacturers of high-end coil springs in the industry.
2020 - Gladiator JT products launch. The Pro-X 4-Link; which is the industry's first, and only, bolt-in, rear triangulated 4-link. It allows for the removal of the rear track bar in the all-new Jeep Gladiator. Rock Krawler Suspension purchases another new facility and moves the company again to Latham, NY. We more than double the size of all departments such as machining, finishing, assembly, warehousing and R & D. Pro-X steering begins testing in all applications.
2021 - The all-new Adventure Series Joint is launched. It is now the industry leader in high ability, maintenance free joints in the off-road industry. It features a total misalignment capability of 35 degrees, which surpasses even most rebuildable cartridge style joints offered by most other quality manufacturers.
2022 - "Pure Performance" truck products are moved back into the "Rock Krawler Suspension" brand. The naming of; Street, Tow, Trail and Trail Recovery really fit our truck products very well. The All-new Rock Krawler website is launched with all truck offerings listed and easier navigation. Wrangler JK/JL/JT Pro-X Steering is Launched. Initial Ford Bronco Product Offerings are launched.
