The original equipment steering tie rods are prone to collapse under heavy load, making them highly susceptible when running larger diameter tires or high offset wheels.

The Fleece Performance tie rod sleeves keep the weak factory tie rods from bending under the added stress of lifted torsion bars, increased horsepower and torque, and aggressive tires.
