SPOHN No Bind Lower Rear Shock Relocation Mounting Brackets (1982-2002 Camaro & Firebird)

Application: 1982-2002 GM F-Body: Camaro & Firebird

Our lower rear shock relocation mounting brackets rotate the bottom of the rear shock to eliminate lower shock mount bind. The bottom of the rear shock is rotated 90° from factory clocking and mounted inside of a double shear mounting clevis.

This allows the bottom of the shock to pivot freely on the bottom mounting bolt instead of being in a bound up single shear cantilevered set up like from the factory.

Our lower rear shock relocation mounting bracket clevises are built from CNC laser cut and formed 3/16" steel. They're CNC formed as one piece with no welds for maximum strength and durability.

They're an easy 100% bolt in installation with the use of basic hand tools through the factory lower rear shock mounting location. They'll install on any factory or aftermarket rear axle housings. No drilling or welding is required.

These mounts are designed for standard sized lower shock bushings that are 1.25" wide and mount with a 1/2" diameter bolt. All required mounting hardware (Grade 8) is included and our mounts feature a brilliant and durable gloss black powder coated finish.

Priced per Pair --- Qty. 1 = 1 Pair

Fitment Note: If you have factory or standard replacement rear shocks that mount over a stud that is bolted to the rear axle housing your lower rear shock bushing may not be equipped with a bolt sleeve. With our relocation brackets you will need to have a bolt sleeve through the lower shock bushing. We have these available that are 5/8" o.d. x 1/2" i.d. x 1.25" long.
