Interested in tuning your new Dodge vehicle? HP Tuners is proud to offer a complete diagnostics and custom-tuning solution via the OBDII port for select 2021+ Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles equipped with the GPEC5 PCM.

This controller can be found in the following supported vehicles:

• 2023-2024 RAM 1500 5.7L eTorque
• 2022-2024 Jeep Wrangler 3.6L
• 2021-2024 Jeep Gladiator 3.6L

We also support the ZF8 transmission (TCM) found in these models! No upgrade service required. Simply license your TCM for (4) credits and tune!

Upgrade Service Details
Our one-time, send-in upgrade service will upgrade your original or spare PCM to enable tuning in VCM Suite. Simply send us your PCM and we'll send it back to you fully upgraded for tuning in the latest VCM Suite (BETA). This means users have to physically remove the PCM from their vehicle.

Make sure to include the VIN when checking out (always double-check your VIN for accuracy to avoid delays). This service takes 1-3 business days to complete (not including shipping times).

Important Note: This is an upgrade only service, so no programming is included. The programming that’s on the PCM when it arrives at HP Tuners’ facility will be the same programming the PCM leaves our facility with.

Everything you need to tune your Dodge/Jeep/RAM GPEC5 vehicle with HP Tuners:

1. Purchase this Dodge GPEC5 PCM Service to upgrade your PCM for tuning.
2. All models also require a 2018+ Dodge Smart Access Cable to enable read, write, and special functions.
3. These models are only compatible with MPVI3 devices.
4. Purchase a new MPVI3.
5. Upgrade your old device for MPVI3 here.
6. Download the latest version of VCM Suite (BETA) for free.
7. Once upgraded, purchase (4) Universal Credits to license your upgraded PCM.

Note: Universal Credits for licensing are not included in the cost of any upgrade service or purchase. Credits must be purchased separately.

Service Notes

• Please note this service is required to tune your GPEC5 PCM controlled Dodge vehicle.
• This service is an upgrade only service. No programming is performed during the service. If you are interested in having your PCM programmed as well, please contact our support team by submitting a ticket before purchasing.
• In addition to this service, all models require an HP Tuners 2018+ Dodge Smart Access Cable. We recommend you purchase this cable in a separate order to avoid delays.
• Please ensure you are sending in ONLY a PCM. No brackets, rubber isolators, or other pieces should be included. These components may not be returned with your upgraded PCM.
• PCMs with broken "LOCKING" tabs or connectors WILL NOT be accepted for upgrades. No exceptions.
• This is a one-time upgrade that will not affect other operations of the PCM. The factory tools will still work for service.

How It Works
Step 1: Once you’ve confirmed your vehicle’s support, purchase the upgrade service.
?? Please make sure to include the VIN when checking out (always double-check your VIN for accuracy to avoid delays).
?? These models also require a 2018+ Dodge Smart Access Cable and MPVI3 device. If you don’t already have these products, we suggest you purchase them on a separate order to avoid delays.
Step 2: After placing your order with the necessary information, see the "Shipping" tab for a shipping form and address. Fill out and print this form to place in your shipping box with your PCM once removed. You will also receive an email immediately after placing your order with this shipping form and address.
Step 3: Remove the PCM from your vehicle and package it safely with the shipping form inside the box.
Step 4: Write your order number on the outside of the shipping box.
Step 5: Ship your PCM to HP Tuners using any carrier you prefer. The shipping address can be found on this page and in the email discussed in Step 2. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Step 6: HP Tuners will upgrade your PCM for tuning. Then, we’ll ship it back to you. The service takes 1-3 business days (not including shipping times).
Step 7: Once you receive your upgraded PCM, install it back into your vehicle. Then, license the upgraded PCM in VCM Editor by purchasing (4) Universal Credits. Once licensed, start tuning with your MPVI3 interface and the latest version of VCM Suite (BETA)!

Due to the factory location of the PCMs in the vehicle, all PCMs will exhibit signs of weathering and wear, which is completely normal.
