I needed this for towing. The extra power is great for racing too as I've taken my truck to the drag strip. The rear tires just spin like crazy. But the main purpose was for towing. This supercharger kit does give you the power it advertises. Highly impressed also with the ease of install. It took me and my son about a good Saturday and half Sunday to finish the install.
