I'm not sure about where the complaints are coming from with the difficulty of getting this intake on. I think some people are just not mechanically inclined to do simple tasks such as changing your own oil, so they complain. I installed this SOB in two hours sparingly with no problems. It fits perfect. Those complaining need to take their shit to a mechanic if you can't install an air intake.
