Question:
CREDIT CARD DECLINE BUT A CHARGE SHOWS
Answer:
Q: I placed an order online and it went through but I got a call saying my credit card declined but I checked my account online and the charge did go through.
A: This doesn't mean the funds transfered over. The charge is a temporary charge that was declined. This is due to several reasons. Your credit card flagged this as fraud and blocked our attempt to charge your card. Or you may have entered the wrong billing address which gives a partial AVS when the credit card is trying to be processed which will decline. This is your bank doing this. Your funds will usually kick back in 48 to 72 hours or you can call your bank and they will remove the pending charge immediately. You will need to call your credit card to allow us to charge your card or give us the correct billing address associated with your credit card.
