Stock, stamped steel control arms are marginal at best when it comes to performance. Bushing deflection, combined with control arm flex can create erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the additional loads of performance driving. BMR lower control arms are built with heavy duty 1.5" DOM tubing, fortifying the rear suspension with the strength needed for aggressive driving on the street, strip, autocross, or road course. The TCA034 Control Arms use 2.0-inch greasable, high-durometer, internally-fluted, polyurethane bushings, leaving you with a solid, more responsive feel over the factory rubber bushings. Combined with reduced control arm flex, the handling of your A-body will be much more predictable and consistent on the street and on the track. The BMR Tubular Lower Control Arms also retain the factory sway bar mounts.
