HP Tuners offers full custom diagnostics and tuning support in VCM Suite (BETA) for GM's Global B E01 ECM. This controller can be found in the following supported vehicles:

• 2020-2023 Cadillac CT4-V 2.7L (L3B)
• 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2.7L Turbo (L3B)
• 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 2.7L Turbo (L3B)
• 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2.7L Turbo (L3B)
• 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 2.7L Turbo (L3B)

This one-time service upgrades your original E01 ECM (Global B generation only) and is required for tuning using HP Tuners' software. Users must physically remove their original E01 ECM from their vehicle and ship it to HP Tuners' headquarters for servicing. Once upgraded, users have full access to calibrate, log, and scan via the OBDII port.

This service requires the original ECM. Spares will NOT be accepted-no exceptions.

Everything you need to tune your E01 ECM vehicle with HP Tuners:

• This one-time, send-in GM E01 ECM Service (Global B) (upgrade service).
• Download the latest version of VCM Suite BETA for free .
• Once upgraded, purchase (4) Universal Credits to license your E01 ECM/vehicle.
• GM Global B vehicle support is only compatible with our MPVI3 interface.

Note: HP Tuners also supports the GM Global B T93 TCM found in supported vehicles with the E01 ECM (Global B) here.

Note: Universal Credits for licensing are not included in the cost of any upgrade service or purchase. Credits must be purchased separately. Service Notes

• Your upgraded E01 ECM can only be tuned via the OBDII port with an MPVI3 interface and the latest version of VCM Suite (BETA) (MPV2+ and older generation devices are not compatible with any GM Global B vehicle support).
• Once the upgrade is complete, users must license their ECM for (4) Universal Credits (sold separately).
• No aftermarket tuning or calibration tools can be used with the ECM (not including dealer reflash tools).
• VCM Scanner, dealer diagnostic, and other diagnostic tools will continue to function normally.
• The latest version of VCM Suite can be used to return to stock calibration and/or update to the latest stock calibration.
• Please allow 3 to 5 business days for this upgrade service, not including shipping times.

How It Works
Step 1: Once you've confirmed your vehicle’s support, purchase this upgrade service. Make sure you have an MPVI3 interface.

• If you're new to HP Tuners, purchase a brand new MPVI3 here.
• If you're using an MPVI2+ or older generation interface, upgrade to the latest generation MPVI3 here.

Step 2: After placing your order with the necessary information, see the "Shipping" for a shipping form and address. Fill out and print this form to place in your shipping box. You will also receive an email immediately after placing your order with this shipping form and address.

Step 3: Remove the ECM from your vehicle and safely package it. Then, package your ECM safely with the shipping form.

Step 4: Write your order number on the outside of the shipping box.

Step 5: Ship your ECM to HP Tuners using any carrier you prefer. The shipping address can be found on this page and in the email discussed in Step 2. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Step 6: HP Tuners will upgrade your ECM for tuning and diagnostics. Then, we'll ship it back to you.

Step 7: Once you receive your upgraded ECM, install it back into your vehicle. Upon reinstallation of the upgraded module into the vehicle, make sure you’re using latest VCM Suite BETA. Always connect to VCM Scanner first and Read/Clear DTCs. Failure to do so may result in a check engine light and/or warnings to "service" various systems (such as Power Steering).

Step 8: Then, license the upgraded E01 ECM by purchasing [4] Universal Credits (sold separately). Once licensed, start tuning with your MPVI3 interface and the latest version of VCM Suite BETA. We also recommend clearing DTCs using VCM Scanner after each flash.

NOTE: Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending HP Tuners your ECM/PCM/TCM. The shipping charge at checkout only covers returning your control module after modification.

Disclaimers

• Upon reinstallation of the upgraded module into the vehicle, users should ensure they are on the latest VCM Suite BETA. Always connect to VCM Scanner first and Read/Clear DTCs. Failure to do so may result in a check engine light and/or warnings to "service" various systems (such as Power Steering).
• We also recommend clearing DTCs using VCM Scanner after each flash.
• These ECM/PCM/TCM services are completed at the owner's risk. HP Tuners will not be responsible for the vehicle, its powertrain, or electronics, nor how the control module is used, calibrated, and its functionality.
• Due to the factory location of the ECM in the vehicle, all ECMs will exhibit signs of weathering and wear, which is completely normal.
• When utilizing this service there is a possibility that the vehicle will need to be sent to the dealers to be re synced. Purchaser accepts all liability for this activity.

HP TUNERS' COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
HP Tuners designs and manufactures software and hardware tools for vehicle diagnostics, scanning, logging, calibration, and data acquisition purposes. The authorized use of such tools is to bring a motor vehicle into emissions compliance and/or to maintain emissions compliance, as well as for use on competition/racing and other exempted vehicles. HP Tuners does not create or provide tunes or pre-made calibrations.

HP Tuners' Terms of Use, policies, and agreements mandate that users shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws. In using HP Tuners software and hardware tools, you are representing, warranting, and agreeing not to use, employ or allow any HP Tuners tools to operate as a defeat device or to violate emissions compliance in any manner whatsoever. You further represent warrant and agree that the HP Tuners tools shall only be used by manufacturers, calibration businesses, and professionals to develop emissions-compliant and/or exempted calibrations.

Limited Product Warranties

Interfaces and Hardware Components
Duration: One (1) year from the date of purchase
Coverage: This limited one (1) year warranty only covers product defects caused by HP Tuners and is only redeemable within the original country or region of purchase by the original purchaser. This limited warranty does not extend to software or other digital products. To make a warranty claim, please provide your Proof of Purchase (original invoice and order number), device serial number (if applicable), Debug and Info logs, license file and photo evidence of defects to HP Tuners Support.

The Limited Warranty does not cover:

• Damage to product resulting from accidents, neglect, or misuse; exposure to liquid, moisture, or dirt; abnormal conditions (temperature extremes) or improper storage.
• Scratches or other cosmetic damage.
• Damage to connection points due to excessive force or improper use.
• Devices that have had the serial number removed, defaced, damaged, or altered in any way.
• Ordinary wear and tear.
• Products that have been modified, tampered with, or serviced by an unauthorized party.

Vehicle Control Modules
(PCM/ECM/TCM- New and Modification Service)

Evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Vehicle Control Modules, whether new or modified by HP Tuners, carry no warranties, expressed or implied, and are offered "as is". In the event of a problem with a Vehicle Control Module product or service, please submit a ticket to HP Tuners Support for resolution.
