IMPORTANT NOTES

Avoid using metal stamps to number rods.
Rod bore conformity and roundness can be affected by the use of metal stamps. We recommend using layout dye on the rod and cap, then inscribing numbers.

NEVER tighten bolts before rod cap is seated.
After locating dowel sleeves into the rod counterbores, CAREFULLY tap rod cap into place until it is fully seated before tightening bolts.

Thoroughly clean components before installation and be sure they are rid of any foreign dirt and oils.
Always use appropriately rated fastener lubricant on bolt threads and under bolt head flange before tightening to spec.
